The Perot Museum of Nature and Science opened in Dallas, Texas in November 2012 to enthusiastic crowds. The 180,000 square foot building relies heavily on technology and communications to supprt the many hands-on exhibits and interactive displays. A Distributed Antenna system is part of the wireless communications network that is essential to powering the exhibits, displays and cellular coverage.
“Every aspect of this building was designed and engineered to provide the most modern, cutting-edge experience possible – now and into the future,” said Justin Ashford, the museum’s director of technology.
