Optical Telecom, partnering with AT&T, has been selected as the preferred DAS installation vendor for the Emory University Campus for a neutral host DAS system.  Emory University, a top-ranked private institution recognized internationally for its outstanding liberal arts colleges, graduate and professional schools, and one of the world’s leading health care systems, is located on a beautiful campus in Atlanta, Georgia’s historic Druid Hills neighborhood. 

Providing coverage to its campus buildings for the staff, students, patients and visitors is a priority for Emory and AT&T.  With dozens of buildings spanning over 600 acres, providing seamless connectivity presents significant challenges.  A common head end will eventually tie together over 27 buildings across a shared infrastructure of fiber and copper cabling.
